We’re a third-generation butchers with a difference. From humble beginnings in the 1960’s with our family run traditional butchers shop on Gloucester road in Bristol, to our present day purpose-built FSA accredited foodservice production facility. The consistent supply of the finest quality meat such as Ashdale and Scotch beef is just the beginning of what Meat Hook has to offer. We also train, recommend and collaborate with chefs so that they can get the finest possible quality meats to optimum seasonal affordability to enhance menu appeal for our client’s customers. Originally Bristol Meat Trader, after listening to requirements of chefs and business owners across the region we evolved to become Meat Hook – a meat foodservice with expertise and knowledge to engage in mutually beneficial partnerships with all current and future chefs and industry experts.

We cut to your individual specification, allowing you to order exactly what you need. Should unforeseen demand leave you short then we offer a same day second delivery option in Bristol. At Meat Hook delivering the finest cuts of meat is only a start of the journey, we offer so much more by inviting chefs to collaborate with us and visit our factory at which time kitchen butchery ability/techniques can be enhanced, where ideas and trends can be shared freely anytime.
